Dukart Management Corporation Office
We are an "Equal Opportunity Employer". It is our policy to offer employment and promotional opportunites to the most qualified individuals, and to establish a consistent Wage and Salary Program equitable for all employees. There are many opportunities to advance within our company.
Dukart Management has a long and proud history with McDonald's. Len Dukart opened restaurant #225 on March 15, 1960 at 374 E. Main Street, Newark, Delaware. Les Dukart joined the family business in July 1973. Alan Dukart joined the business in June 1979. The third generation, Mike Dukart, joined the family business in 1999 as an approved Owner/Operator.
Dukart Management currently owns and operates 9 McDonald's locations throughout Delaware (Wilmington, Newark, Bear and Middletown) and 2 in Pennsylvania (Concordville and Boothwyn).
Jamil Tourk joined our company as the Operations Director in 2001 and Mike Abbonizio joined the company as the Director of Training in 2002. Rick Torockio joined our company as the Operatios Director of our Bucks County restaurants in 2007.
Dukart Management has a long running history of being pioneers in the McDonald's system. Len Dukart was instrumental in the opening of the Delaware Ronald McDonald House. The Dukarts have won many, many awards within the McDonald's system. In December of 2000, the Espresso & Dessert Cafe (an upscale coffee and dessert bar) opened in the Main Street restaurant. While it was an exciting adventure, the entity was dissolved in January 2005.
In 2004 the Bistro Gourmet opened in our Glasgow location. It was a new concept that specializes in Panini sandwiches, gourmet cakes and freshly made waffle cones for ice cream. Sadly, that also dissolved in 2008.
2004 also saw the passing of the company's founder, Leonard Dukart. His vision and passion will always be remembered and cherished.
In the future, we look forward to more restaurant openings and we're certain that the tradition of excellence will continue.
